I know this is a 4 month old comment. But I just want to state that people have wanted to fly even before the first world war, planes only advanced during war because it was necessary for a war and then later introduced in other models for pedestrians to travel overseas.

Well it's fantasy. The romance between Elves and Humans would likely be a very odd thing. It's like how an Elf could be 150 and a human could be 40. They would be about the same age considering their lifespans but they still have 110 years between them. Given such a large age, an Elf would find years to be much shorter then humans (like in LotR). When you add fantasy races into the mix, it creates a lot of complications. I'm sure she wouldn't do anything sexual with the MC till he was an adult which is what matters. But the age aspect really isn't that bad. The younger you are, the weirder age honestly feels even in real life. A thirty year old can date a fourty year old as an example. I didn't make them, the original post was talking about real things. Hebephilia is the sexual interest in those of the age of 11-14. So it's the attraction toward pubescent children versus prepubescent children. Just as Teleiophilia is the sexual preference for adults, Mesophilia is toward middle-aged adults, and Gerontophilia is the attraction toward the elderly. Obviously Teleiophilia and higher is an attraction to adults which is legal, and Hebephilia is illegal as it relates to minors.
